Interfaith Peace Walk
For the 15th year, Tony organized the annual Interfaith Peace Walk on the Upper West Side. In the tradition of Martin Luther King, Jr., neighbors of every faith walk to various houses of worship in an expression of hope for peace.
“We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now.”
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
Sponsored by West Side Clergy, join a diverse group from different races, creeds, ages and backgrounds. Walk together to honor Dr. King and to improve our community.
