About the Project
In January 2020, Tony’s company MuMo (Music + Movement) presented four performances of Apocalypse Man at the APAP Conference (Association of Performing Arts Professionals), an annual international meeting of performing artists, artist representatives and venue managers.
Apocalypse Man has engaged audiences across all cultures and languages in a universally emotional story, plumbing the depths of 21st Century aloneness, upheaval and despair, until … a small, unexpected sign of hope.
Tony’s partner, Italian violinist Francesco Senese, could not be part of these performances. New York violinist Louise Owen brilliantly took his place, playing Bartók’s “Sonata for Solo Violin” with stunning virtuosity.
