The Association of Performing Arts Professionals chose Tony to be a storyteller for the inaugural season of Arts. Work. Life., a podcast from APAP featuring performing arts professionals from around the world. Tony leads off the third episode, “From Burnout to Balance: Defying Death, Embracing Life.”
The Hero's Journey
Tony gave a presentation on Vision for the The Hero’s Journey, a new web series by the Festival Musica sull’Acqua. Tony and four other Festival artists explore five aspects of the hero’s quest and how they have affected their inner artistic lives.
Telling a Story with Movement
Tony joined Academy of Sacred Drama artistic director, Jeremy Rhizor to discuss incorporating movement into Baroque oratorios which had remained unheard for over 300 years. Tony became the Academy’s movement director in 2019. He works with the singers and musicians to use their bodies to evoke the characters and emotions of the music.
