About the Project

Tony’s cross-cultural mime and music project in Dakar, Senegal – Get Up! Take Care of Your Planet! – confronts the country’s ecological tragedy of overwhelming amounts of plastic refuse. Tony and a group of young artists, athletes and musicians combined classical mime with local traditions to develop an honest, hard-hitting, funny and physically demanding theatrical presentation described as a show “everyone in the country should see.”
